To facilitate and maintain our mission, continuing formal and practical education of our inspectors is a prerequisite. Our inspectors shall maintain the mandatory minimum amount of continuing education and abide by the standards of practice, code of ethics and membership requirements of the National Association of Home Inspectors and the American Society of Home Inspectors.

Biography

 

Gregg Miller grew up assisting with the family business. His father owned and operated Miller Builders, a residential construction company. As a youngster, Gregg frequently accompanied his father to business meetings and performed minor repairs. As a teenager, Gregg worked summers on his father’s construction crew.

After graduating from The University of Akron, he returned to Miller Builders and progressed from construction foreman to site supervisor. He participated in every aspect of new residential construction as well as repairs and renovations to older homes. In 1993, Gregg acquired full partnership in Miller Builders. Four years later, Gregg purchased Miller Builders from his partner.

In 2006, with the needs of his clients in mind, Gregg focused on a new direction and changed his company name to Home Smart Inspection Services LLC. His new direction encompasses the best elements of three decades of residential knowledge and experience.

education.
